The Castleton Museum and visitor centre has some intriging displays like this Celtic Head from 1000BC (left) and the bowls and jewellery made from the rare 'Blue John' gemstone only found around Castleton. The bowl was made from stone mined in 1960 from Treak Cliff Cavern.
